3D outdoor shoot in Parrsboro 2023
Some of the lovely ‘Barn Girls’ were out and about on the road again, attending the traditional 3D outdoor shoot in Parrsboro on August 19 and 20, 2023, hosted by the Down by the Bay archery club.
They had two rounds of 20 targets to shoot each day. Registration started at 8 am on Saturday with great weather to enjoy and the 30 traditional archers headed into the woods.
The Parrsboro firefighters provided a nice lunch on both days.
Sunday’s warm-up began with some drizzle and rain, but as soon as the shooters entered the wood, the weather cleared up, and it turned out to be another fantastic day to roam around the woods with bows and arrows. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend!
We proudly announce that our Barn Girls, Bridget and Karen, came in 2nd and 3rd in their category. Well done, ladies!
