Open House, Barn Christmas, Barn Champions Awards and Christmas Parade in Louisburg.

Over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, December 9th and 10th, there was a lot of activity at The Barn.
On Saturday afternoon, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, ‘The Barn’ and John’s Archery hosted an Open House.
People of all ages were invited to try their hand at shooting arrows.
The event was filled with excitement, laughter, and great conversations.

Barn Champions 2023
Later that evening, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, The Barn hosted a Christmas Get-Together. The event had a delicious dinner buffet, thanks to the amazing Barn members. After everyone had their fill, there was an Award ceremony to announce the 2023 Barn Champions.
Many medals and cakes were presented to their rightful owners. The fun continued as some archers took out their bows and shot some arrows. As the evening came to an end, everyone received a ‘Christmas bag’ with treats.
It was a perfect evening with perfect archers and non-archers.
Congratulation to ALL competitors! Well done! Great job!
Finally, let us shout out a loud “Thank you” to all Barn Archers! For all the help (very often behind the scene), the homemade food, the laughs, the advice, the ideas…

Christmas Parade in Louisburg
Next on the weekend agenda was the Christmas Parade in Louisburg on Sunday afternoon.
It was the first time Barn Archers and John’s Archery participated in the event.
Some members of the Barn were dressed in fun costumes, and our Barn Robin Hood drove the ‘Barn Mobile’ safely through the streets of Louisburg.
The Barn float was beautifully decorated, thanks to our ‘Christmas Karen’ for her hard work and ideas.
Overall, it was a lot of fun! The weather was gorgeous, and the floats were beautifully decorated.
There’s not much else to say except that it was a great parade! Congratulations to the event organiser.
