What is an Indoor Mail match?
Indoor Mailmatch is a National Competition shot. Due to the vast geography of Canada, it can be difficult to attend all National competitions, but the desire to see where you stand against other Canadian Archers is still there.
How does it work?
- The Archery Canada Indoor mail match takes place in the Barn from January 7 to March 31, 2024.
- Each Archer can submit (1) score per week for this event.
- Participants must be Archery Canada members in good standing.
- Scorecards need to be signed by the Indoor Mailmatch participant, and the mail match coordinator of the Barn, Karen Cann.
- To contend for medals, each participant must submit a minimum of six (6) scores.
- Scores will be from a Canadian 300 Round, shooting 30 Arrows. A Canadian 300 Round (Traditional/Instinctive shooters) is using the full 40 cm face. Youth under the age of 15 using the 60cm target face.
How can I participate in the Mail match?
The good news: The Barn indoor mailmatch coordinator Karen will do all the ‘nitty-gritty’ for you.
The only thing left for you to do is to become a member of Archery Canada if you do not have a membership number already.
