2023 Atlantic Indoor Target & 3D Championships in Pictou
hosted by Northumberland Strait Shooters Archery Club on April 22/23.
More than 100 archers attended the event.
All shooting categories, Compound, Olympic recurve and Traditional archers were on the shooting line.
The 3D shoot was held on Saturday, and the target competition on Sunday.
Some ‘Barn Girls’ hit the road to attend the 3D championship as well.
After the first shock to run into a refrigerator (it was cold inside) was over, they layered up, got their mind in the game and of course, had a lot of fun.
One course (shooting twice) with 20 animal targets means a total of 40 targets were to master with one arrow to shoot into each target.
And they did well…
The Barn was well presented. The missing Barn and John’s Archery ‘pieces’ John and Karen followed online because they couldn’t attend the event this time – We’ve missed you badly.
Congratulation!!! Way to go!
