Barn Archers Brave the Cold at the First Outdoor Shoot of the Year
The Barn Archers kicked off the outdoor season with a frosty adventure at the Frozen Finger Shoot in Glooscap! Five of our dedicated archers made the trip to take part in this mixed shoot (compound and traditional bows), which saw an impressive 34 participants, including 23 traditional shooters.
The morning greeted everyone with a brisk -11°C, but spirits were high, and the cold was no match for the enthusiasm of the archers. Bundled up and ready for the challenge, they navigated the course with skill and determination.
The return trip, however, proved to be an adventure of its own! Snowstorms made for tricky driving conditions, and the Barn Archers arrived home late, but thankfully safe.
A Big Congratulations to Our Winners!
Our Barn Archers made a fantastic showing, with several placing in their categories:
🥇 First Place – Karen, Jennifer, and Olivia
🥈 Second Place – Anthony
🥉 Third Place – John
A huge thank you to the Glooscap Heritage Archers for hosting such a fantastic event!
It was a great way to start the season, and we look forward to many more shoots ahead.
