Our final outdoor shoot of 2025 is officially in the books—and what a perfectly wild, wonderfully weather-confused day it turned out to be! 🎉
Sun? Maybe. Snow? Possible. Rain? Oh yes. But a little drizzle has never stopped The Barn archers, and it certainly didn’t this year. 🌦️
From the first arrows of the morning, the atmosphere was easygoing, upbeat, and full of that unmistakable Barn spirit—where even the “creative shots” get celebrated with a laugh. 😄
Lunch Highlights:
A hearty BBQ spread with burgers and hotdogs, classic potato and pasta salads, and a dessert table overflowing with treats.
Warm coffee and tea kept everyone fuelled and cozy throughout the day. ☕🔥
Youth Division Excitement:
Oliva and Grace ended neck-and-neck, each scoring 575 with 44 tens—an exact tie down to the last detail.
Since the 3D animals were already packed away for their winter hibernation (big thanks to everyone who helped!), the tie-breaker moved indoors to The Barn.
Four animals, one arrow each—and with just a 5-point edge, Grace secured the win for the youth category. 🏹✨
🎭 The Legendary Frosty Trophies
No glitz, no red carpet—just the coolest trophies around.
A huge thank-you to Anthony, whose craftsmanship once again produced beautifully unique Frosty awards that everyone was thrilled to receive. ❄️🏆
And of course, the generosity of our community shone brightly. With a great selection of donated door prizes, plenty of folks went home with something extra (besides pleasantly tired arms). 🎁
A Big Shout-Out to Our Volunteers:
The magic of this event happens because of the incredible people behind the scenes—setting courses, flipping burgers, tallying scores, making coffee, arranging the food buffet, baking cookies and cupcakes, packing animals, and keeping the entire day running smoothly.
You truly are The Barn’s backbone. 🙌
To everyone who braved the unpredictable weather—thank you for bringing your energy, humour, and good spirits.
You turned a grey forecast into a day full of warmth and memories.
