Join us for the TAANS Traditional Archery Shoot, promising two full days of fun, camaraderie, and archery excitement!
Scoring Divisions: Adult Male, Adult Female;
Junior and Cub Male and Female combined.
⇒ Longbow (M/F): For shooters shooting with a longbow (string doesn’t touch limb when strung), no length requirement, no arrow material requirement.
⇒ Recurve (M/F): For shooters shooting with a recurve (string touches limbs when strung), no arrow material requirement.
⇒ Self-Bow/Primitive (M/F): For shooters shooting a wood bow (no glass no carbon), no arrow material requirement.
Horsebow (M/F): Is a short, recurved traditional bow designed for mounted archery.
⇒ Junior all bows (M/F combined): For shooters over 12 and under 18.
⇒ Cub all bows (M/F combined): For shooters under 12
⇒ Fun Class: For shooters of any age, style. Non-competitive. No medals. Shoot from a comfortable distance.
Technical Requirements:
➔ Equipment must be traditional. No compound or crossbows are allowed.
➔ Any type of arrow is permitted in all classes.
➔ No sights, No range finders.
